Yiwu Small Commodity Market built in Thailand began construction
Yiwu International Trade City announced that it will join hands with Ashima Yunnan Cultural Industry Investment Company to create Thailand’s version of “Yiwu Small Commodity Market. ” The investment project of up to 10 billion, will start building on 18th of this month in Bangkok, Thailand, which marking the the first step of go abroad of world’s largest commodity trading center.
Entitled “Bangkok Thailand and China commodity city” item, is the key strategic projects of China and Thailand. It will be built to a similar commodity wholesale centre like Yiwu International Trade City. The international commodity city will begin construction on 18th of this month and be completed in 2013. It is planned to be a total construction area of over 200 million square meters, locating in the south of Bangkok city, which is 10 km from downtown Bangkok. The commodity city is seperated with different districts of arts and crafts , fashion accessories , shoes, toys, stationery and apperal etc. for over 10 kinds of commodities from China. After the completion of construction, it can offer business place for 15,000 merchants and the capacity will be over 100,000 people.
With this project, commodities from Yiwu International Trade City will access to Southeast Asia more fluently, not only to Thailand.
